The JJA’s 2021 Jazz Heroes will present themselves and thoughts about jazz activism in 2020 at the JJA Jazz Heroes Zoom Party hosted by Bret “Jazz Video Guy” Primack here and here..
Primack, this year’s Tucson Jazz Hero, will comment during the town hall-style live stream. JJA president Howard Mandel will moderate discussion groups drawn from the 22 attending Heroes — all of whom will be on the call, able to comment in the side chat. Primack will also edit the groups’ distinct conversations into separate videos for archival purposes.
