On June 11, 2014, the Jazz Journalists Association celebrated the 19th Annual JJA Jazz Awards at the 2014 Awards Gala at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City. Musical interludes performed by Stephanie Richards Trumpet Quartet, Sheila Jordan, and Elio Villafranca’s Jass Syncopators.
